Air Conditioners
Marvair® air conditioners are designed and built for the various markets we serve.
All Marvair® air conditioners are tested and rated in accordance with AHRI standard 390, “Performance Rating of Single Package Air-Conditioners and Heat Pumps” and listed in the AHRI Single Package Vertical Units (SPVU) directory.
MAA/MGA AHRI Listed/Certified vertical package exterior wall mount air conditioners used to cool telecommunication shelters and electronic equipment rooms.
8AA AHRI Listed/Certified high efficiency vertical package exterior wall mount air conditioners are used to cool telecommunication shelters and electronic equipment rooms.
MGA "High Capacity Large Cabinet" vertical package exterior wall mount air conditioners are used to cool telecommunication shelters and electronic equipment rooms.
GAA Wall mounted air conditioners with gas heat are ideal for schools, modular buildings, or any other facility with significant heating demands.
Heat Pumps
Marvair® Heat Pumps are built in a wide variety of styles, configurations and ventilation options, including the Marvair® exclusive GreenWheel® and GreenCube® Energy Recovery Ventilators. Whether for a new school, a modular classroom or a school renovation project, Marvair® has a heat pump ideally suited to your needs and budget.
All Marvair® heat pumps are tested and rated in accordance with AHRI standard 390, “Performance Rating of Single Package Air-Conditioners and Heat Pumps” and listed in the AHRI Single Package Vertical Units (SPVU) directory.
MAA Wall mount heat pumps are the ideal HVAC system for a wide variety of applications. The exterior mounting means that no valuable interior space is required.
8AA Heat pumps are built in nominal cooling capacities of 2 to 5 tons (24,000 to 55,000 BTUH's). Each of the units is available with electric resistant heat as second stage or emergency heat. All 8AA heat pumps use R-410A refrigerant. Scroll compressors are standard on all models. EER's up to 11.00. A complete range of factory installed ventilation options are available including the GreenWheel® and GreenCube® Energy Recovery Ventilators.

VAA/VDA Scholar 2.0 Air conditioners and heat pumps are highly efficient and quiet vertical units installed in the classroom.
Controllers/Thermostats
Marvair® offers a complete line of thermostats and controllers. Thermostats for all applications and both heat pumps and air conditioners are offered. All of our thermostats are electronic - no mercury - are reliable, have easy to read LCD displays and are easy to operate. Programmable and non-programmable thermostats are offered with auto or manual changeover and 1 or 2 stage heating and cooling.
The CommStat 3, CommStat 4 and CommStat 6 are programmable, digital lead/lag HVAC controllers designed for controlling multiple redundant air conditioners or heat pumps.
The PLC-Based CoolLinks controller sequences the operation of the two Marvair® Air Conditioners to ensure the most energy-efficient conditioning of the shelter space and the most balanced use of the conditioning equipment.
The MAR8000 is a controller and sensors in a single, attractive package that creates a flexible solution to stand-alone control challenges or BACnet network challenges.
Marvair® offers a selection of thermostats and controllers designed to operate a fully or partially redundant air conditioning and heat pump systems used for cooling classrooms, modular/portable buildings, telecommunication shelters, huts, and cabinets.
